Overlooking Kendal Castle and the Lakeland Fells, Castle Green is Kendal’s only 4* Hotel and boasts an array of contemporary facilities, including ceremony and function spaces to accommodate 25 to 250 guests, in a truly breath-taking setting.
Our original house dates back to 1847 and still contains some of the traditional features for those all-important photographs, as well as our Wedding Gazebo in the gardens for a truly romantic ceremony location.

Christine Brown our Banqueting Manager has won The Sheila Hensman Award for Outstanding Contribution to Excellence at the Cumbria Tourism Awards!
The award was created in memory of Sheila Hensman who led the way in outstanding customer service during her career at Cumbria Tourism. Christine was elated with her award, commenting “I am totally over the moon and feel very humbled, I would like to thank all the Castle Green staff for their support over the years” , we feel this award was very well deserved, well done Christine!
