We are proud to have created a unique dining experience that offers the best of Cumbrian cuisine in a contemporary environment. First and foremost our food is delicious.
Our layout is flexible and can accommodate intimate dinners for two or larger groups looking for a sociable space to gather. We have an open kitchen and views over our gardens and on to Kendal Castle, arguably the best views Kendal has to offer.

Sandwiches are available daily from 12pm – 5pm
Sunday Lunch is served 12pm – 2pm
Alternative Afternoon Tea
Available 7 days a week 1pm – 5pm
(Bookings must be made 24 hours in advance)
Food is available all week round

If you are looking to book a table of 10-24 people in our Greenhouse Restaurant or 8-22 people in our Alexanders Pub, then please email: reception@castlegreen.co.uk to organise your booking.
Non-residents will need to:
Pay a £10 per person deposit to guarantee the booking
Fill out a pre-order form and return it 7 days prior to the event
Pay the final balance 7 days prior to the event
LUNCH
Lunch in the Greenhouse Restaurant, hotel lounge or bar is brought to you by our Executive Chef Carl Semple and his talented brigade.
Sandwiches are served daily between 12pm – 5pm
Sunday lunch is served between 12pm & 4pm
Our Brasserie Menu is available from 12pm – 9.30pm
Booking is not essential but advisable.
